Kratz and Galvis Homer to Stir Comeback Win

If the Phillies performance today had to be compared to a mythical bird it would definitely have to be the phoenix. (Not the Arcticuno)
Wrap-up after the jump.

I hope you enjoyed the Pokemon reference.  Now, back to the game.  The Phillies desperately needed to capitalize on the final game of this series against the Reds to take the series and stay on pace against Atlanta and Washington in the division.
Pettibone did not have a bad pitching performance today, allowing 2 runs in 7 innings, but it was still enough to put the Phils into a hole going into the eighth inning.  Jay Bruce homered for the Reds to help pitcher Homer Bailey, who threw 7 scoreless innings.  It's a shame for Homer that his relievers couldn't get him the win.
Chase Utley got the Phils on the board finally with an RBI single that scored Ben Revere.  Erik Kratz, who came into the game in the third inning to replace Carlos Ruiz, who strained his hamstring running the bases, got the Phillies even at 2-2 with an 9th-inning home run against Aroldis Chapman.  Freddy Galvis finished the task in the 9th with a walk-off HR off Chapman.  After converting his first 8 save attempts this season, Chapman has lost a step and blown his last 2, much to the delight of Phillie fans.
Cole Hamels will get the start tomorrow in Miami, followed by Tyler Cloyd on Tuesday, who was called up from Lehigh Valley to replace Roy Halladay/John Lannan.
